Jeff Miller of the OC Register is calling Mike Scioscia and Tony Reagins overly optimistic. This is the same Jeff Miller, mind you, that recently labeled Angel fans racist, before discounting subsequent criticism by using the tiresome media crutch known as “insider” access.
No amount of side-stepping, inapt analogies, or hogwash ”anonymous” quotes will return whatever credibility Miller may have enjoyed previously.
Unfortunately for him, his colleagues (who share the newsroom and the access) have called him out, suggesting that his claim was “off base.”
How seriously can we take this guy?
