Former Angel Bartolo Colon has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chicago White Sox. Colon, who won the 2005 AL Cy Young Award while with the Angels, will be competing for most of the postgame spread a spot in the White Sox rotation, we assume, since he’s essentially unwilling to be a team player reliever at this stage in his career.
We’re taking bets on how long it takes Colon to suffer a fallout with White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen his next back injury. On the bright side, of course, the White Sox have finally found a use for all of the activator that Sammy Sosa left behind.
