Former Angel Adam Kennedy has been reunited with former Angel coach Joe Maddon, signing a minor league contract with the Tampa Rays. [h/t MLB Trade Rumors].
In Kennedy, the Rays pick up a good clubhouse guy (yes, we’re giving AK the benefit of the doubt; Tony LaRussa hates everybody), one of the game’s best defensive second basemen, and a decent left-handed bat off the bench. At the price, it’s a no-brainer for the Rays.
