Wow! Could it really be that Scioscia actually signed a 10 year-contract? This doesn’t generally happen in sports. We’ll say it again…wow!
Scioscia’s an excellent manager, perhaps the best in the game, a wonderful combination of the classic “player’s manager” and “hardass.” Opposing fans and players may not like Scioscia’s propensity to argue calls, but we love it, as, likely, do his players.
