Garret Anderson is taking batting practice and hanging out with some Irish guy.
The article is interesting, though, because Dave O’Brien gets G.A. to talk, including a partial accounting of the 40 pounds he’s gained since his minor league days:
“You just put that ‘man weight’ on, that last 20 or 30 pounds,…”
Implicit in G.A.’s message is that you aren’t really a man until you’ve packed on 20-30 pounds. We like it. “Man weight.” We like it so much that we’re considering changing this blog’s name to “Man Weight.”
